[English version]
Sir

It's great that I receive your goodness that actually gives me the boldness to pray for you to give me the grace to lend me thirty strong piastres. Thus, I need a huge favor.
Uncertainly, where I am to receive the answers of the letters that I wrote by the last mail, at his first return does not provide me with insurance to promise to repay you this time; But I hope that you are able to do me this favor. Try to convince yourself that I am with most grand consideration and respect.

Sir Tobias Lear

Sir
Your humble servant.
